I went to the UPS store yesterday to mail out DVDs to clients and venders, and to my surprise my favorite employee- the manager of the Morro Bay UPS store will not be working there no longer. I started crying after I left the store, it actually put me into a bad daze, a really bad one. Stu was the BEST UPS guy in the world. He would even package up stuff and write in the amount on my checks when I would drop stuff off. He will be sorely missed and I don’t believe I am alone.
Stu was a great employee despite the claims of the establishment. Stu went out of his way to make everyone a happy customer, and I don't even know his last name, and never got to say a really big thanks for all you did for me. Everyone claims that money isn't the issue, but really folks are we all replaceable? Everyone hires min wage employees instead of paying a higher more experienced wage one.
If you have a favorite person that helps you out in whatever you do -make sure you give notice because today’s employers are pretty much about the money and in the end, it will hurt their business.
